The evidence behind the check.
Larch is built on research led by neurologist A/Prof. Jane Alty, which showed that hand movement tracks cognitive change years before symptoms appear.
Two minutes of movement, read against yourself.
Short movement tasks
The person completes a short set of guided tasks, such as finger tapping, in front of the camera on the phone or computer they already own. No clinic, specialist or extra equipment is needed.
Millisecond precision
Computer vision tracks the hand through each task, and AI models extract motor, speech and cognitive signals timed beyond what any human observer can register.
A personal baseline
The first check sets a baseline. Each later result is compared only with that person’s own earlier readings, so a small change becomes visible over time.
