Early brain change usually reaches you second-hand. A patient mentions dropping things, or a family member notices a shuffle, and the history depends on who noticed and when they thought to say it.
Larch picks up changes in movement during the preclinical stage, when they are too subtle to see. After the first reading, each result is compared with the patient's own earlier ones, so you can see whether anything has moved and by how much.
It fits inside a standard consult and needs no extra equipment. The next reading can be done at home before the follow-up.
